Genting Rewards tiers: what each one costs

Resorts World Las Vegas sets Genting Rewards status by Tier Credits, which it also calls Genting Base Points, earned in a tier year that runs January 5 to January 4: Elite at 3,000, Prime at 75,000, Monarch at 250,000 and Imperial at 1,000,000. Reel slots earn 3 points per $1 of coin-in and video poker 3 per $3.50, but dining, retail and spa earn 5 per $1. So Prime is $25,000 of slot coin-in, $87,500 of video poker, or $15,000 of dining, retail and spa, and Elite is $600 of meals.

Every Genting Rewards tier, priced

Tier (Tier Credits)Dining, retail, spa (5/$1)Day & nightlife (1/$1)Slots (3/$1)Video poker (3/$3.50)
Elite (3,000)$600$3,000$1,000$3,500
Prime (75,000)$15,000$75,000$25,000$87,500
Monarch (250,000)$50,000$250,000$83,334$291,667
Imperial (1,000,000)$200,000$1,000,000$333,334$1,166,667

Each cell is one kind of spend on its own, inside one tier year. Real plans mix them, and the calculator below adds them up. Taxes and tips don't earn, and neither do room nights, room service or the minibar, so a hotel bill on its own buys no status here. Table games earn by game, average bet and time played, and Resorts World doesn't publish a rate, so tables aren't priced.

Spend buys something. Play costs something.

The slot and video poker columns are coin-in, not cost. Most of what goes through a machine comes back, and what you lose on average is coin-in times the house edge.

TierSlots: expected loss at 7.74%9/6 Jacks or Better: expected loss at 0.46%
Elite$77$16
Prime$1,935$403
Monarch$6,450$1,342
Imperial$25,800$5,367

7.74% is what slot machines on the Las Vegas Strip actually held over the twelve months to May 2026, per the Gaming Control Board. That figure includes video poker, so reel slots alone hold more. 0.46% is 9/6 Jacks or Better with perfect play, which only applies if you find a 9/6 machine and play it right. The video poker trainer teaches that. Slots earn tier faster per dollar here than at most Strip casinos, so the gap is smaller than elsewhere: Prime costs about 4.8 times as much on slots as on good video poker, not the 6 to 9 times at Caesars or The Venetian.

Dining is different. A dollar on dinner buys dinner, so the honest price is the spend you wouldn't have made anyway. The same spend earns Genting Points to spend at the resort: 5,000 points are worth $5, so 5 per $1 returns 0.5%, and once you're Elite the 10% discount at participating outlets returns far more than that. Slot play returns 0.3% of coin-in in points before any tier boost.

A mixed plan for Prime: $3,000 on dining, retail and spa over the year (15,000 Tier Credits). The last 60,000 is $70,000 of video poker coin-in, about $322 expected loss at 0.46%, or $20,000 of slot coin-in, about $1,548 at 7.74%.

What each tier gets you

From Resorts World's tier benefits page. Royal, the free entry tier, earns and redeems Genting Points and gets member offers. Elite adds free self-parking and 10% off at participating retail and dining outlets. Prime adds a 10% Genting Point boost on slots, LuckLock (hold your slot machine for 15 minutes once a day), priority hotel check-in, member tournament invitations, and a dining credit of up to $100.

Monarch adds a 25% slot point boost, early check-in and late check-out when available, line passes at select outlets and at Zouk and Ayu, a member reservations line, a dining credit of up to $200, and airfare reimbursement of up to $200 twice a year. Imperial adds a 40% boost, free valet, airport ground transportation, a dining credit of up to $400 and airfare of up to $500 twice a year.

The dining credit and the airfare only go to members who earned the Tier Credits in the current tier year. A tier you hold over from last year, or one you got through a tier match, doesn't qualify. Airfare comes back as free play, and only on a trip with a Resorts World stay. A member who climbs through several tiers in one year gets a dining credit at each one.

Elite is the cheap win: $600 of meals over a year, about $16 of expected loss on good video poker, or $77 on slots, and it pays you back in free parking and 10% off dinner. Prime is the one to price: about $403 on 9/6 video poker against a $100 dining credit and a 10% boost on slot points. Monarch's two $200 flights and $200 dining credit are worth up to $600 a year, against $1,342 on good video poker. It only pays if you'd be playing that much anyway.

Rules that decide the plan

Every Vegas program's base rate is in players cards compared. Caesars, MGM, Station and Venetian status are priced in the Caesars Diamond calculator, the MGM Gold and Platinum page, the Station Boarding Pass page and the Venetian Rewards page. Comps are covered in the comps guide.
